LIVE IN THE WYLDES 2019

The legendary Paul Weller will headline the second Live in The Wyldes event of 2019, on Saturday June 15th!

From his nascent beginnings as a key member of popular British bands The Jam and The Style Council, his status as an icon of the UK music scene was cemented when he began his solo career, producing a raft of hit singles that remain consistently popular with old and new fans alike, including songs such as You Do Something to Me, The Changingman and Wild Wood. Paul Weller released his fourteenth solo album, True Meanings, in September this year and received critical acclaim and reached number two in the Official UK Albums Chart.

Over a long and critically lauded career, Paul Weller has won acclaim from all corners of the industry and his solo artistry has seen him win four Brit Awards, the NME’s Godlike Genius Award, an Ivor Novello Lifetime Achievement award, and at this year’s Q Awards, Paul was honoured with the Best Act in The World Right Now award.

On Saturday June 15th, Weller will be bringing his only show in the Southwest of 2019 to Cornwall, and you don’t want to miss it.

We know we say this every year… but Leo XII was the best yet!

With incredible performances from international superstars like Kelis, St. Paul and The Broken Bones, Tom Grennan, Roni Size, Public Service Broadcasting, Marshal Jefferson, and Monki. As well as unforgettable moments from the likes of OMG It’s The Church, Steve Davis & Kavus Torabi, and DJ Ben Morris’ headline set in Dinkies (if you know, you know…).

This year we added The Funny Side, our comedy tent, with acts including Josh Widdicombe, Shappi Khorsandi, and Russell Kane. Next year we’re going to need a bigger tent!

There was a little bit of rain (it’s just tradition now, right?!) but as ever it didn’t stop play – and the Leo magic brought the sunshine out in the end!

Once you’ve experienced Leopallooza you’ll never be the same.

LIVE IN THE WYLDES 2018

Paloma didn’t just bring the sunshine to The Wyldes, she brought one of the best performances our stage has ever seen. The field was full to bursting with fans of all ages enjoying the day lazing in the sun, followed by the night dancing under the stars.

And as Paloma herself said – ‘do loads of people come here? Because they should! It’s f*cking brilliant!’

We went to see Paloma Faith and the supporting acts. Amazing location and brilliantly organised event. The first event like this I’ve ever taken my daughter to and she rated it 1005/10! We both can’t wait to go back.

The weather might have tried to ruin our fun, but we’re made of hardier stuff than that, and there’s no way a little bit of water is going to stop the party!

We dug out our skinny jeans and Stan Smiths and went full mid-noughties indie with headliners The Cribs and Maximo Park, bringing back the Slow Sunday vibes with Gabrielle Aplin closing the weekend.

Our eleventh year might have been the dampest, but it showed us all just how dedicated you guys are to Leo. And we have nothing but respect for that!

Well what a weekend! Whilst other festivals and events were postponed or cancelled, the Leopallooza teams pulled out all the stops to ensure that the customers got one hell of a festival, despite the dreadful weather! (...) It always manages to feel like a real community of people that care, really care, about the entire festival experience for everyone, from the youngest to the oldest, the festival newbies to those that have been going to festivals their whole lives.

 LIVE IN THE WYLDES 2017

Drum and Bass legends Chase and Status brought their acclaimed DJ set to get Lost in The Wyldes for our second night of partying. Bringing with them a support line-up of epic proportions.

It’s safe to say it went off and we brought some dirty bass to Cornwall for one night only.

At last! Thank you for bringing the drum and bass scene to North Cornwall. Awesome night with like minded bass loving loonies.. venue looking so good, light and sound system tops, love the chill out seating in the woods - High Contrast, Chase & Status and Friction killed it!
Please can we do it all again very soon?

Rag’n’Bone Man returned to The Wyldes in 2017, and this time he brought some friends.

After he stole the show at Leo X we couldn’t not ask Rory and his phenomenal voice back to The Wyldes immediately. With a support line-up hand-picked by Rory himself – including Rational, Dan Caplan, and Rhys Lewis – it was a day and night filled with great music, great people, and non-stop smiles. The perfect launch to Live in The Wyldes.

We had an amazingly unforgettable day...we loved all the handpicked support acts and of course the incredible Rag’n’Bone man.

Our tenth birthday party, and damn did we party! We unveiled our brand-new stage (created using reclaimed wood and motorway sidings) with an incredible line-up of acts, including Band of Skulls, Crystal Fighters, Rag’n’Bone Man, DJ Yoda, Eliza and The Bear, and special guest Seasick Steve. Plus, we had our very own Rio Carnival…

Leo X was a celebration of everybody who’d helped us make it to ten years. Everybody who built stages, poured pints, let us borrow their sofas, filled in holes, cleaned, cooked, played, partied, and bought tickets. We couldn’t do it without you, and we do it entirely for you.

This is the prettiest, funkiest, friendliest, most delicious festival ever! Brilliant for everyone - from toddlers up, you have to go ... you are missing out!
We love Leopallooza- every glittery inch of it!
